Verdict: Spurs aren’t in a good position too so they might just get a fair share of point at Villa Park. However, I don’t believe Spurs is the team to burst Villa’s bubble because they didn’t impress me with their win over Pompey in the last game week.

Verdict: This is indeed gonna be the most physical game of the ten matches. Liverpool is still winless on the road but have confidence in them when they are at home. Playing at their fortress, Anfield, they are sure to keep 3 points in their bag after a tough fight with blackie. Moreover, Rafael and his men will have to bounce back from the defeat at the Reebok Stadium into order to close down the 6points gap between Chelsea, United and them. The reason I picked 2-1 is because I believe that Rovers will break down the yet to stable partnership of Carragher and Agger. Maybe Hyypia might start. Reina could be low on confidence given his flukes in the previous matches.

Verdict: City will have to rely on their home games to pick up points since they have lost 3 and drawn 1 at away. The blades have put up a real fight for an impressive first premiership victory over Boro with Phil Jagielka’s stunning volley. Sheffield might have to be back to losing for sometime again. With 3 points in their bag, I’m sure Barton won’t be flashing his butt again!

Verdict: Boro, boro! Surprise, surprise! Woodgate replacing Southgate adds steel to their defence. Don’t forget, Boro loves to surprise big teams at the Riverside stadium as you have seen them beating the big 4 at home before. With on form Everton traveling to the Riverside, Southgate’s men are going to end Merseyside Blue’s unbeaten streak. With Johnson scoring again, I guess Yakubu might just do a double to seal up 3 points.
Portsm'h v West Ham
Best Bet: Draw, West Ham. Value for Money: D-D, 2-2.
Verdict: Poor Pompey lost their last two games against Bolton and Spurs which they don’t deserve that. They won’t be making it three in a row for sure. They aren’t so dumb like West Ham who made it five games for themselves. With five strikers to choose from, the Hammers have yet to find the net in their last five. This time round their will fire for sure with Dino Tevez and Monster Harewood netting in while Kanu and Benjani to rescue a point for Pompey. Should Hammers make it six in a row for themselves, I’ve got no comments on them but Pardew might be on the edge of a cliff soon.
Reading v Chelsea
Best Bet: Reading+1.5. Value for Money: D-A, 0-1. Lucky Bet: Draw
Verdict: Reading has gotten 13points out of the possible 21. They are on level with Pompey, Everton and Villa, ain’t that cool? Sorry, it is gonna be 13points still after their 8th game because Blues will just vent their anger on Reading. Jose and his men will have to pick up this crucial 3points after dropping 2 at Stamford Bridge in the last game week. However, Reading has got a very strong home record so they won’t be easy prey for Chelsea. For you info, Reading are still not beaten at home this season. A marginal win for Chelsea will do. Go for draw if you really wanna try your luck!

Verdict: Time for castle to climb up the table with a possible partnership of Rossi and Martins that provides pace but no aerial ability. Jussi Jaaskelainen has been on great form recently which boost the Trotters to 3rd place just two behind United and Chelsea. Big Sam must be smiling now but it has to be Roeder’s turn when the final whistle is blown.
Fulham v Charlton
Best Bet: Charlton win. Value for Money: A-A, 0-2.
Dowie is under a lot of pressure having won 1 game and losing the other 6. Although Charlton do not have much quality in their squad, I believe that if they defend well as a team, they always have a chance of winning this game with a powerful pair of strikers up front, Bent and Hasselbank. It’s been long Charlton tasted victory, this time it will be a sweet one for them.
